Trump resigns Executive Director Position at Community Foundation of Wabash County

North Manchester, Ind. – Community Foundation of Wabash County Executive Director Tracy Trump has resigned from her position as executive director.

Trump, who grew up in Urbana and now lives in North Manchester, joined the Foundation as Assistant Director in 2005 and became executive director in early 2007. She leaves her post after working with the Board of Directors to achieve the goals set forth in the Foundation’s three-year Sustaining Resource Development Plan.

“My decision to resign was a very, very difficult one,” Trumps says, “My life has been enriched by the work and success that the Foundation has enjoyed thanks to strong support from our community.”Trump says she will continue to support the Foundation and its work in Wabash County. However, her day-to-day energy will focus on managing the activities of her two-year-old son, Connor, and her second child, who is expected soon.

“Tracy has worked diligently to build the Foundation’s relationships with donors, professional advisors, community leaders and other nonprofit organizations,” says Community Foundation Board of Directors Chair Dave McFadden, “Her passion for the Foundation has helped people realize how vital charitable giving is to improving the quality of life in Wabash County.”
