The Community Foundation's Mission

We serve the citizens of Wabash County by implementing their charitable aspirations, making grants, investing and safeguarding charitable assets, providing information regarding charitable endeavors, and convening citizens and linking resources to address issues confronting our shared lives.

We're a community foundation, a tax-exempt public charity that enables individuals, families, businesses and organizations to create charitable funds that help meet the challenges of changing times. We build and safeguard endowments for the community through contributions large and small. Permanently invested to produce earnings, these contributions span the years and award approximately $600,000 in grants each year to support vital work in education, social services, and civic and cultural affairs, to name a few. These gifts help to secure a bright future for generations to come.

Since 1954, area residents have been turning to the Community Foundation to make their philanthropic giving as effective as possible.

We welcome your interest, and we share your love of community. To find out more about how we can help you fulfill your charitable goals, visit our Fund Information Page, call us at 260-982-4824, or stop by our office at 218 E. Main St., North Manchester.
